A little on the dark side, Thunderbolt’s Blend is named after Captain Thunderbolt — the cheeky outlaw bushranger who once roamed the hills around Walcha. Bold, adventurous, and just a bit rebellious… it felt like the perfect name for our darker, punchier espresso blend.
Thunderbolt isn’t your everyday dark roast coffee. It’s a specialty espresso blend that balances strength with elegance — big enough to cut through milk, but smooth enough to stand tall on its own.
Colombian San Jose Excelso: the backbone of the blend — high-grade, vibrant, and sweet, with clarity and a mineral sparkle.
Brazil Oberon: smooth chocolate and caramel notes that bring body and comfort.
Robusta: just a touch, to give it that cheeky caffeine kick and extra weight in the cup.
The result? A full-bodied, viscous espresso with chocolate sweetness, balanced vibrancy, and an elegant finish — strong, but never brutal.
