Returns & Refunds Policy

At Forrest Food Co., we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), as well as our store’s procedures for returns, refunds, and exchanges.
Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL:
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure.
You are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Change of Mind Returns
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
However, we may, at our discretion, accept a change-of-mind return if the item is unused, in its original packaging, and returned within 7days of purchase, returned at your own expense. Forrest Food Co. do not refund the cost of original shipping.
If accepted, you will receive a store credit or exchange (shipping costs are non-refundable)
Faulty Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or different from what you ordered:
1. Contact us at forrestfoodco@gmail.com.au within 24hours of receiving your order.
2. Provide your order number, description of the issue, and photos (if applicable).
3. We will assess your claim in line with ACL requirements and arrange for a repair, replacement, or refund (including reasonable shipping costs).
How to Request a Return
Email us at forrestfoodco@gmail.com with your order details.
Wait for our confirmation and return instructions.
Send the item back to us in its original packaging.
Keep your shipping receipt & tracking number as proof of return.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5 business days of receiving the returned item.
Refund times may vary depending on your payment provider.
Exclusions
The following items are not eligible for return or refund, unless they are faulty under the ACL:
Clearance or sale items (unless faulty).
Customised, personalised, or made-to-order items.
Items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (e.g. safety gear, clothing, or consumables)
